Education and Training

In 2008 Ping Chong & Company launched a NEW education program, called Secret Histories, adapted from Undesirable Elements, an ongoing series of oral-history theater works by internationally acclaimed theatre artist, Ping Chong. The program provides a professional Undesirable Elements performance, followed by an in-school artistic residency. During the residency, teaching artists work with students to develop a personal narrative and present it in a theatrical performance. The work promotes academic skills and peer understanding through the arts.

It is also available as an after-school theater program, and as after-school and weekend workshops.   Secret Histories teaching artists are professional theater artists and have worked in all 5 boroughs of  New York City, around the country, and internationally.
